Chairman of Jury of 40th National Short Film Festival in Drama

She was born in Chania, Crete. She graduated from the Hellenic Cinema and Television School Stavrakos and the TEI of Business Administration in Chalkida. She studied Static Photography and attended postgraduate Film Courses in Australia, as well as Photography Direction Courses at RAI Television in Italy. She is a student of the postgraduate department of Τheatrical Studies at the University of Cyprus. She has designed the lighting for more than three hundred and fifty theatrical, dance and music performances in Greece and abroad. Moreover, she has worked as a Director of Photography in many short and feature films, TV series, documentaries, theatrical videos and advertisements. She also designed the lighting of the Closing ceremony at the Athens 2004 Olympic Games. Since 2005 she has been teaching at the Film and Television Department of the New York College of Athens and has been giving lectures and seminars at university and theater schools. She has won several awards, including the Best Photography Director Award for the film "Guilt" and the Best Photography Award for the TV series "The Slaughter of Blood" at the Thessaloniki Film Festival. She has also won the Best Photography Award for the film “Before the End of the World” at the Alexandria International Film Festival.
She competed at the Short Film Festival in Drama with 27 films and she was awarded for the films: "Little Preludes" by Vangelis Kalambakas, "You are welcome" by Fotini Papadodima (1988), "Giati, ama, omos "by FotiniPapadodima (1990)," Melo "by Marilena Doucheli (1991), "New Year's Eve" by Petros Zoulias and “Lean on me” by Elisabeth Chronopoulou (1995), with the Special Award for "Best Technical Achievement".
