Director, producer, screenwriter of various international film cross co-productions with his company ATALANTE PICTURES Munich, shot in Germany, Italy, USA, Greece, co-financed by: Federal German Ministry for Cultural Affairs, German Federal Subsidy Board, Greek Ministry for Cultural Affairs, Greek Film Centre, ERT S.A., Dutch Public Broadcasting System, Bavarian Broadcasting Corporation BR, German - French Broadcaster ARTE etc.
His films have participated in the official competitive sections of more than 250 prestigious film festivals worldwide (Venice, Cannes, Munich, Melbourne, Bilbao, Palm Springs, San Francisco, Cork, London, Goteborg, Uppsala, Huston, New York, Chicago, Thessaloniki, Drama, Mexico City, Edinburg, Biarritz, Brest, Nimes, Paris, Los Angeles, Montreal etc.) and have been awarded with more than 100 prizes, such as the Golden State Award and nominations as Best Film of the year in Germany, State Awards & nominations as Best film of the year in Greece, Best Film by the Greek Film Critics Association, and several awards and distinctions at the Short Film Festival in Drama.
In the Festival in Drama he participated with the films ‘Duet’ (1990) Fiction Film Αward, ‘Runaway’ (1992): Best Fiction Film, ‘The doll's house’ (1994): Special Mention and ‘Sunset in Venice’ (1998).
